Process Engineering

Raghu Vamsi Manufacturing Engineering Planners own the manufacturing process, and are responsible for new part introduction and on-going process improvements.  They begin with the purchase order requirements, drawings, parts lists, and specifications, then develop the bill of material.  Then they develop the processes including tools, numerical control (NC) machine programs, and special process instructions.  They go further to create shop floor instructions, routings, and inspection plans.

Raghu Vamsi Engineering Planners lead the integration of new technology for assembly and manufacturing processes.  They work closely with our customers and with manufacturing operations to develop and continuously improve the methods used.    They also work closely with Operations on Lean initiatives to reduce cycle time and work-in-process inventory.

This responsibility includes process change control and obtaining customer or regulatory authority approvals.
